El- Rom Boutique Travel Lodge The Boutique El-Rom travel lodge is located in the northern Golan Heights at 1070 meters above sea level. The lodge is brand new and opened its doors in June 2019. The lodge is designed with the highest quality in a unique European style with attention to every detail for your comfort. In addition to the comfortable and beautiful rooms, the lodge also offers a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, picnic tables & swings set in the natural atmosphere of the Golan Heights and together with the fresh crisp mountain air your stay with us will be memorable. Rooms: There are 18 rooms with a capacity of 97 beds. At the guest’s request, the rooms can be set up family style (double bed with bunk beds) or with only bunk beds. - Each room can accommodate 5-6 persons - Each room has a private bathroom & separate shower. - Each room contains a refrigerator, coffee area, sitting area, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. - You’ll feel at home in our rooms with the warm and fresh look. Additional Facilities: - The lounge - a large room with sitting areas, coffee bar, large screen TV and games. - Outdoor kitchen - large kitchen equipped with refrigerators, freezers, stoves and utensils. - Public areas - lawns, swings, BBQ facilities and picnic tables. - Cinema Elrom - a professional movie theater seating 145 for film screening, lectures and performances (by appointment and additional cost).
Food: - The lodge has a kosher kitchen which serves dairy meals, breakfast & dinner. - The dining room seats 80. - By appointment, meat meals for lunch or dinner can be ordered from one of our catering suppliers (Druze, Kibbutz, Bar-B-Q and more) - By appointment, packed meals can be ordered (Dairy, Meat, Parve).
Activities: Guests of the lodge can enjoy special rates from a variety of activities around El-Rom. - “The Valley of Tears”- a movie + explanation about the heroic battle of the “7 Brigade” in the “Yom Kippur War”, duration 40 minutes. - Movie evenings - private screening in our cinema (with/out drinks and snacks) - Walk with Lanterns - a guided 90 minutes evening hike in the forest. - Lectures - a variety of lectures on a variety of topics (heritage, politics, settlement in the Golan Heights, life on kibbutz and more. The film - "Vally of tears" El-Rom tourism is proud to announce a new documentary film that re-creates the battle of the "valley of tears". This new film describes the incredible and awe-insipiring story of the heroism of the 7th brigade. The film brings to the screen the personal testimony of brigade commander Avigdor "Yanush" Bengal, the battalion commander Avigdor Kahalani and the troops under their command. By way of authentic documentation together with advanced animated simulation we bring to you this incredible story and the overwelming odds that our soldiers were to face. This is a lesson of history and heritage that stresses the enduring spirit by personal example that led our troops to victory.
